Golden Drum

The Golden Drum International Festival of Creativity is the premier creative competition celebrating excellence, diversity, and innovation across the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region. Established in 1993, it has grown into one of the most respected regional festivals in the world, serving as a vital bridge between Eastern and Western creative cultures. Its credibility is cemented by its inclusion in the prestigious WARC Creative Rankings and its world-class, diverse international juries that evaluate work based on its original "local spirit" combined with global standards of excellence. Winning a Golden Drum award—ranging from the iconic Golden Drum to the Grand Prix—is a definitive mark of creative leadership, recognizing campaigns that successfully navigate complex cultural nuances to deliver impactful, boundary-pushing communication.

Planning guidance

Turn dates into a submission workflow

Assign an internal owner to every deadline at least six weeks before the official date. For each candidate entry, track category fit, evidence readiness, asset completeness, client approval status, and budget approval. If a milestone carries a fee, use it as a forcing function for the slate review rather than waiting for the final submission date.
