  3. Use the Awardy MCP server URL above when a server endpoint is requested.
  4. Sign in to Awardy and approve the connection.
  5. Select Awardy from the composer or app picker when you want awards context in a conversation.

Business, Enterprise, and Edu workspaces may require an admin to enable apps or custom MCP apps before members can connect Awardy.

Claude Desktop or claude.ai

  1. Open Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector.
  3. Paste the server URL above.
  4. Sign in to Awardy and approve access.

Custom connectors require a paid Claude plan (Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise).

Do I need an Awardy account?

Yes, but you do not set one up in advance. The first time you connect, you sign in through Awardy and your account and workspace are created automatically. There are no API keys to manage.

Is it free?

Planning data is free: awards, cycles, categories, key dates, and fees. Submission creation, full winner case studies, and entry requirements are unlock-gated per award. You request access to a specific program with the request award unlock tool, and Awardy approves it.

Is Awardy available inside ChatGPT?

Do I need a paid Claude plan?

Adding a custom connector in Claude Desktop or claude.ai requires a paid Claude plan (Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise). Claude Code connects with a single command on standard access.

How do I unlock a specific award's winners or requirements?

Use the request award unlock tool from inside your assistant and name the program you want. The request goes to Awardy for approval, and once granted the premium data flows into your workspace.

Can my team share access?

Yes. Your workspace is shared. You can invite teammates, and unlocked award data and saved work live in the workspace so the whole team works from the same access.
